If it is not on the list, ask anyway
The categories above are the equipment we handle most often, not the limit of what we will look at. Unusual, mixed and part-working lots are all worth sending over — a photo or a rough spreadsheet is enough for us to tell you either way.
Not sure whether something counts as IT equipment? Get in touch and describe it — it is quicker than guessing.
Mixed and unsorted
You do not need to sort it first. Mixed boxes, pallets and store-cupboard clear-outs are normal for us.
Older and unusual kit
Legacy servers, odd form factors and equipment nobody has switched on for a while are still worth asking about.
Faulty and incomplete
Missing chargers, dead batteries, broken screens and machines that no longer boot. Tell us, and we price accordingly.
One item or a full site
From a single laptop to a whole floor. For larger quantities we can look at arranging collection.

What tends to be worth little
“We buy almost anything IT” is true, and it is only half the picture. These are the things that usually come back with little or no value against them, so you know before you spend time listing them.
Very old consumer equipment
Home desktops and laptops more than about a decade old, where the parts no longer fit anything current and nobody is buying the whole unit.
CRT monitors and televisions
Heavy, fragile and long out of demand. Flat panels are a different story and are worth listing.
Printers, scanners and consumables
Office printers rarely hold value once they are out of warranty, and toner and ink are not something we can resell.
Equipment damaged beyond its parts
Water damage, fire damage and crushed units, where even the components cannot be recovered reliably.
Proprietary kit with no second-hand market
Hardware tied to a discontinued platform or a licence that cannot transfer to a new owner.
Anything that is not IT equipment
Office furniture, white goods and general electricals fall outside what we do, even when they come out of the same room.
None of this means do not ask. It is a guide to what usually happens, not a refusal, and an item sitting on this list alongside things we do want is still worth mentioning — it costs you nothing to include it, and the quote will mark it plainly either way.
