About Us
We buy surplus and end-of-life IT equipment from businesses and individuals, securely wipe data where it is needed, and put as much of that hardware back into use as we can. That is the whole business — no add-ons, no upselling, no long contracts.
What We Do
Everything we do falls into one of three parts. It is worth seeing them separately, because plenty of customers only ever need one of them.
Some people come to us with one laptop and want a fair price for it. Others are decommissioning a server room and need the whole thing gone by a date, with the data dealt with properly on the way out. The process is the same either way — only the scale changes.
Laptops, desktops, servers, storage, networking hardware and components — from a single machine in a cupboard to a whole floor being cleared. You tell us what you have, we assess it, and we quote for whatever we are able to buy. If something is not worth buying, we say so rather than pad out the list.
Most business hardware leaves the building with something on it. Where your devices hold information you would rather not pass on, eligible storage can be securely wiped before the equipment moves on, and documentation provided to record what was done. We agree the approach with you before any work starts.
Equipment is assessed item by item once it reaches us. Working hardware is cleaned, tested and refurbished so it can go back into service, useful parts are recovered from units that cannot be saved, and only genuinely finished hardware is passed on for recycling.
How We Work
These are commitments about how we behave, not badges on a wall. They apply whether you are selling one machine or clearing a building.
We tell you what your equipment is genuinely worth to us, including when the answer is very little. Age, condition, specification and demand all move the number, and we will tell you which one is driving it.
One quote, broken down where a breakdown helps, with anything we cannot buy clearly marked as excluded. If the figure changes once we have the equipment in front of us, you hear why before anything is processed.
Every device is treated as though it still holds something sensitive, from the moment it is collected. If you need data removed, we agree what will be done and what you will receive to evidence it before we begin.
Recycling is the last outcome we look for, not the first. If a machine can keep working, our job is to find somewhere for it to keep working — that is better for you, and better for everything downstream.
Your enquiry stays with the person who picked it up, so you are never re-explaining your equipment list to somebody new halfway through a collection.
Plain English on the phone, in email and in writing. If we use a term that only makes sense inside this industry, we have not done our job properly.
Anything on this page that sounds like a promise is one we can keep on our own. Where a claim would depend on a certification, registration or standard, you will find it left out on purpose — see the note further down this page.
Reuse Before Recycling
A large part of the environmental cost of any computer is paid long before it is switched on for the first time — in the materials, the manufacturing and the shipping. Once that cost has been paid, the best thing that can happen to a working machine is that it carries on working.
That is why recycling sits at the bottom of our list rather than the top. It is also why we would rather hear from you early: equipment that has sat in a store room for three years is worth less to everybody than the same equipment offered when it came out of service.
Cleaned, tested and repaired where it is worth repairing, so the machine can go straight back into service.
Working equipment is resold and keeps doing the job it was built to do, for somebody who needs it.
Where a unit cannot be saved as a whole, the components that still have life in them come out and get reused.
Only what is genuinely finished is passed on for recycling. It is the last step, not the default one.
