This page describes the website exactly as it is built today, and it has been written that way rather than copied from a template. It must be revisited the moment anything is added that stores or reads information on a visitor’s device — analytics, an embedded video or map, a live chat widget, a booking tool, a social feed or any other third-party script. At that point a consent banner will very likely be required under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, and the statements below will no longer be accurate.
It also needs a legal read-through before launch. Nothing here has been reviewed by a solicitor.

This policy explains how this website uses cookies and similar technologies. It is deliberately short, because at the moment the honest answer is that it does not use them.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on the device you are browsing with. The next time you visit, the site can read that file back. It is the mechanism that keeps you signed in as you move between pages, remembers what you put in a basket, or remembers that you asked for a larger text size. The same mechanism is also what allows a website — or a company whose code is running on that website — to count visitors, work out which pages they read, and in some cases follow them from one site to the next.
“Similar technologies” covers anything else that stores or reads information on your device for those same purposes: local storage, session storage, tracking pixels and device fingerprinting. The law treats them in much the same way as cookies, so this policy does too. Where this page says “cookies”, it means all of that, not just the text files.
What this website does today
As at the date above, this website sets no cookies at all. There is no analytics, no advertising or remarketing tag, and no third-party tracking script on any page. Nothing is written to your device to recognise you when you come back, and nothing about your visit is used to follow you around other websites.
No cookies set
The site writes no cookie of its own, and does not use local or session storage to identify you or remember you between visits.
No analytics
There is no analytics, heat-mapping or session-recording tool running on any page. We are not counting you, and we are not watching what you read.
No advertising or remarketing
No advertising pixels, no remarketing tags and no social media trackers. Nothing about your visit is shared with an ad network.
No consent banner
Because nothing is stored on your device, there is nothing to ask you to accept — so you are not interrupted before you can read the page.
Why there is no cookie banner
A consent banner exists for one reason: to ask permission for cookies that need permission. Where a site sets none, there is nothing to ask about, and a banner would be decoration rather than compliance. So there is not one, and you are not made to click through anything before you can read the page.
That position has to be earned rather than assumed, and it holds only for as long as nothing on the site stores information on your device. See what would change if cookies are introduced later.
Requests your browser does make to other companies
Setting no cookies is not the same as your browser speaking to nobody but us. Two things on this site are worth being straight about, because both involve a request leaving your browser and going somewhere other than this website. Neither sets a cookie and neither is used to identify you here — but any request of that kind does carry your IP address and basic browser information to whoever receives it.
Typefaces
The two typefaces used across the site come from the Google Fonts library. The files are collected when the site is built and served from this domain, so displaying a page should not require your browser to contact Google.
Photography
The photographs are placeholders while the design is being signed off, and are loaded from a third-party image host. Your browser fetches those files directly from that host, so the host sees the request. The images set no cookie and are not used to identify you.
Forms, emails and phone calls
When you send an enquiry through a form on this site, the details you type are submitted to us and kept as a record so that we can reply to you. That is not a cookie: nothing is stored on your device, and the record sits with us rather than with you. What we keep, how long we keep it for and who sees it is covered by our privacy policy rather than by this page.
As with almost any website, the server that delivers these pages may also keep ordinary technical logs of the requests it receives. That is not a cookie either, and it is not used to build a picture of you.
What would change if cookies are introduced later
Most of the things a business eventually wants from its website bring cookies with them, whether or not that is the point of adding them. Any of the following would almost certainly mean this page has to change:
- Website analytics, or a tag manager that loads it
- An embedded video player, map or calendar
- A live chat or chatbot widget
- An online booking, scheduling or payment tool
- Social media feeds, like buttons or share widgets
- Advertising, remarketing or conversion-tracking tags
If any of them are added, all of the following happen before the change goes live:
- This page is rewritten to list each cookie, what it does, who sets it and how long it lasts.
- A consent mechanism is added, so nothing beyond what is strictly necessary is stored until you have agreed to it.
- You are given a way to change your mind later, as easily as you gave permission in the first place.
- The date at the top of this page is updated so the change is visible.
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), storing information on a visitor’s device, or reading information already stored there, generally requires that visitor’s consent. The exception is what is strictly necessary to provide the service they have asked for. That is why adding an analytics tool is not a small technical decision — it changes what this page has to say, and it changes what has to be asked of you before it runs.
Managing cookies in your browser
You do not need to do anything for this site. More generally, every mainstream browser lets you decide what is allowed to be stored on your device. Depending on the browser, you can usually:
- Block cookies entirely, or block only third-party cookies — the ones set by a company other than the site you are actually visiting.
- See what a site has stored on your device and delete it, either for that one site or for all of them.
- Clear cookies automatically every time you close the browser.
- Use a private or incognito window, so anything stored during that session is discarded when you close it.
The relevant setting normally sits under a heading such as Privacy, Cookies, Site data or Tracking. Your browser’s own help pages will always be more accurate and more current than anything we could copy out here, so start there. Be aware that blocking cookies across the board will break parts of other sites that genuinely rely on them — staying signed in, for instance. It will not affect this one.
Browser signals such as “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control make no difference here for the same reason: there is nothing being tracked for them to switch off.
Changes to this policy
Any change is published on this page and the date at the top is updated. If a change means cookies start being set, you will not have to spot a new date to find out — you will be asked before anything non-essential is stored on your device.
